Rakhiv — Blyznytsi — Vorozheska — Yasinia traverse

A three-day point-to-point traverse of Svydovets: from Rakhiv along the ridge over Blyznytsi (1881 m) to lake Vorozheska and on to Yasinia. Almost the whole way runs on an open ridge, so the views never stop — 48 km and about 2400 m of gain.

Blyznytsi offers one of the best panoramas of neighbouring Chornohora — Petros and Hoverla in full view across the Chorna Tysa valley. And the Svydovets lakes are the massif's crown jewels: glacial cirques holding mirrors of water right under the ridge. A tent night by lake Vorozheska is the kind of experience this route is worth walking for.
