Plai is a small project about the Ukrainian Carpathians. Every route here has been walked on foot: water sources, timings, overnight spots, escape routes and transport are field notes from real treks — not tips rewritten from the internet.
Free routes are published with a full description and a GPX track. Paid guides (79–149 ₴, roughly €2–4) are detailed PDFs with logistics, water, day-by-day timings, escape routes, a route overview and an elevation profile, plus a GPX file for your navigation app.
100% of guide sales go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine via a monobank jar. Thank you for donating and hiking.
How does payment work?
You transfer the amount to our monobank jar and put the order code in the transfer comment. Once we see the payment (usually within a few hours), the guide arrives in your inbox.
What do I get after purchase?
An email with the PDF guide and the GPX track. The links are valid for 7 days — save the files. If you buy on the English version of the site, you get the English PDF.
Lost the email or the links expired?
Just write to hello@plai.guide from the email you used to buy — we will resend it.
Are free routes complete?
Yes: full logistics, timing, water and safety right on the page, and the GPX downloads free of charge. If a route helped you, you can support the project with a donation.
I want a route that is not in the catalog
Use the "Suggest a route" button in the catalog or write to us — we hike regularly and plan new guides based on your suggestions.
Important: mountains are a high-risk environment. Check the weather forecast, share your route plan with someone you trust, and register with the mountain rescue service before setting out (the emergency number in Ukraine is 112).
